About Us
Midwest Gaming Investigators and Regulators was established in 1988
We are a non-profit organization comprised of gaming Investigators and regulators throughout the United States and Canada.
MGIR holds conferences bi-annually with a mission of sharing gaming intelligence. Attendees are asked to confidentially share information during the roundtable that impacts other members.
Roundtable information has included:
- · Thefts and illegal activities
- · Licensing and background investigations
- · New gaming activities and legislation
- · Internet gaming
- · Illegal slot machines
The Conference offers essential training designed to help members obtain more knowledge on subjects that we often do not have the resources to gain on our own, such as emerging technologies.
MGIR is your organization and the Board relies on every member for suggestions and ideas that will help make it better. If you have any suggestions or ideas, please don’t hesitate to discuss them with any board member.
